The following manufacturers have their own dedicated pages:

Alpine has developed their 3rd generation of Velocitec Cams that feature Dynamic Load Balancing to help eliminate cam lean problems. The yoke paths machined into the cams are helicals and compensate for a .050” lateral shift. They have also introduced the LXP limb pocket design that is featured on the Assault and other bows. This radical looking pocket is designed to “produce the speed of an extreme reflex bow, with the stability of a straight handle design.” Also of interest is the Skulz camo that features a grayscale skull pattern and copper anodized accents.
Lots of info on the Alpine line

Athens Archery is and up and coming bow maker that has started building a good following. They have just released some preliminary information on their new bow, the Exceed. The first look at the specs are a 37″ ATA with a 7″ brace height, weighing in at 4.4 lbs. and 326 fps. This should be a very attractive bow for those seeking a longer ATA bow with good speed.

Bear Archery has released their new 2010 bow lineup. The Bear Attack (pictured below) features beyond parallel limbs, the E-Cam (single cam) and boasts an IBO speed of 340 fps; all for $749 MSRP. This is quite an impressive flagship and early reports say that it is quite a shooter. All of the 2010 Bear bows make use of Dual Arc string suppressors, something unique to the industry. The rest of the lineup features something for everyone including youth and women, all at very good price points.

Carbon Tech is set to enter the bow making business in 2010. The Phantom (far left in the picture) is their entry into the carbon riser market at a price of $1299. With looks far different than Hoyt’s Carbon Matrix, it does have similar specs with an ATA of 34″, brace height of 8″ and IBO rating of 310+ fps. It is one of the lightest bows on the market at 3.25 lbs. Also from CT is the Pursuit which is the aluminum twin of the Phantom with near identical specs except for a weight of 3.9 lbs. and MSRP of $599. Rounding out the CT offering is their short bow, the Lightning at 32″ ATA, 7.5″ brace height and IBO rating of 315+ fps, all for $499.
The Phantoms will not be available until mid-April, with the other two bows available at the first of March.

Darton’s 2010 line contains one new bow, the Pro 3800, an addition to the 3500 series, the Pro 3500 SD and updates to the 1000 and 500, the 1100 and 600.

Elite has announced the “Judge” bow (pictured here). The cams make use of a modular system for changing draw lengths which will appeal to many archers. The Judge has a 34 7/8 ata, 6″ BH and is rated for 343-347 fps while weighing in at 4.3 lbs. Reports show the first bows to hit the market are shooting over 340 fps IBO with a peep and loop installed. Elite will be retaining the GT500, Z28 and XLR bows from the 2009 line with no changes.

The 2010 Martin catalog is now available. There have been several updates to previous bowlines that should keep Martin fans happy. A couple of highlights:
FireCat-TR2: IBO 335-345 fps, 7″ brace height, 3.5 lbs., ATA of 32 1/4″
WartHog MAG: IBO 350 fps, 6.25″ brace height, 4.3 lbs., ATA of 35″.
The WartHog in particular has some appealing specifications as it comes in at 350 fps with a higher than average brace height and ATA for that speed. This is sure to be a big seller for them. The Scepter 4 also got a speed upgrade to 335-345 at and ATA of 37 1/4″ and added “MAG” to its name.
Martin is also offering a “cloak” package that adds camouflage dipping of the cams. This is a nice touch for those customers that want something like this straight from the factory rather than having to go to secondary places for dipping.

Mission (Mathews)
Mission has released a couple of new bows and a few updates to the others in the line. The most notable addition is the Voyager bow with a 34″ ATA and an IBO rating of 323 fps, all with a solo cam and for under $650. Those that have shot the Voyager have given very positive feedback and this could be a great seller for 2010. Also added to the line is the dual-cam Maniac that goes down to 20 lbs. draw weight and a 22″ draw length. With an IBO of 310 fps, this may be a great bow for the growing archer.

Pearson has released limited information on their new bows: the Advantage, Legend and Predator. They have begun shipping the Advantage in limited numbers. The Pearson website has not been updated for the new line and solid information on the specs is sparse. What is known about the Advantage is that it is 37″ ATA and features a bridged grip.

PSE has released a couple of new X-Force bows; the Vendetta and Axe Series. It appears that the Omen will continue to be the PSE speed king for 2010 with IBO ratings clocking in at 358-366 fps for the 5.5″ brace height version. The Vendetta will be around 320-330 fps and the Axe 327-345 fps depending on the versions. The Axe series uses the new Axe Hybrid Cam and the Vendetta the new L6 Cam. There is also a new version of the Dream Season that will use the UF Cam (same as the Omen). With an inch longer brace height than the Omen (6 1/2″) and an IBO rating of 348-356, it should appeal to the speed freaks that would like a bit of a longer brace.

The Quest Bowhunting homepage now has information on their new for 2010 Primal and Smoke bows. The fade finish is especially of interest; the riser is black in the middle fading to camouflage at the ends and limbs. The Primal sports a new cable guard system called the I-glide that consists of a rod with two holes in the end that the cables slide through. The Primal specs out at 332 fps with a 7 1/8″ brace height, 32″ axle to axle and 3.9 lbs. All this for a reported $699 MSRP. The Smoke is even more buyer friendly at $499 MSRP with a 33″ ATA, 7 1/4″ brace and 320 fps IBO rating.

Rytera will be building on their popular Alien line by complimenting the Alien-X (currently in production) with the Alien-Z and the Alien Nemesis. The X will continue with an ATA of 31 1/2″, the Z at 36″ and the Nemesis 34″. All versions will be available with either Hybrix hybrid cams or Tranz single cams. Hyrbrix cams are reported to reach speeds of 340 fps. The image provided shows that the Nemesis has a very complex riser design and should be a big hit with those wanting something different and exciting.

Kevin Strother (formerly of Bowtech and most recently Elite Archery) has formed Strother Archery with his wife Kate. They have announced five new bows to be released as the 2010 line, the Vanquish, Infinity, SR-71, Inspire and a youth bow. The Infinity, Vanquish and SR71 have begun shipping in black with camouflage versions to follow soon.
The Strother line will use split limbs that go past parallel for 2010. Also, the line has switched from binary cams (supposedly because of legal issues) to hybrid cams. The strings will make use of No-Glove oscillation reducers rather than the standard speed nock/string silencer combination and is claimed to give all the speed benefits as well as damping string vibration. A new lubricant impregnated cable slide will be used to reduce slide noise and friction.
IBO rating for the Vanquish (31″ ATA, 7 11/16″ brace) is 333 fps, for the Infinity (33 5/8″ ATA, 7 1/16″ brace) 343 fps, for the SR-71 (33 11/6″ ATA, 6 1/16″ brace) 353 fps.
