Apps are everywhere and there is nearly an app for everything! While archery is not as inundated with apps as some other subjects, there are plenty out there. My experience in using many of them has been anywhere from great to abysmal. This article will be a place to collect those experience and provide some (hopefully) useful reviews. Archery app reviews

On the surface this seems like a great app. Multiple scoring options with the ability to vary nearly everything. There are many scoring games included if you are going to shoot a standard round of sorts and it is customizable to create a variety of rounds. Scoring rings, number of arrows, distances, number of ends and more can all be modified. It took a couple of tries to get any modifications to work properly, but overall was fairly easy to do.
Now the horrible part of this app. Overall I loved most everything about the app and it was moderately easy to setup and use, right up to the point where I started getting spam messages every 5-30 minutes. This app installs spamware call “Airpush” that will constantly fill up your notification bar with ads and assorted spam. Upon figuring out where my spam was coming from, I immediately uninstalled this app and it will never see the light of day on any of my devices again.
It’s too bad the author decided to go the spam route. I would gladly put up with a few discretely placed ads or have paid a couple of bucks for the app. But installing a spambot? That a sin too great for me to forgive. I will still give the app one out of five bulls-eyes, and will reconsider the rating if the spam is ever removed.
