For 2011 PSE has come out with a few new bows, some upgrades and various improvements to last year’s bows to create their new line. It appears they will be holding onto the speed crown with the X-Force Omen Pro while gaining a bit of weight and some next generation limbs in the process. There are a lot of similar names to last years bows so I’ll try to sum up the changes as simply as possible:
2011 PSE Pro Series Bows
It appears that all the 2011 Pro Series bows get an updated grip, the B.E.S.T. Raptor Grip, which replaces the B.E.S.T. Grip from last year.
X-Force Omen Pro: Same specs as the 2010 Omen, but slightly heavier and with 4th generation X Technology split limbs. The riser has a slightly different look to it as well.
Dream Season Evo: This is the replacement for the Dream Season UF. The big difference here is the replacement of the UF cam with the AXE cam for 2011, and about 10 less fps. It also uses the new 4th generation X Technology split limbs.
Dominator Pro Hybrid and Dominator Pro One Cam: These are the completely new bows in the lineup that look something like a cross between a MoneyMaker and Omen, with one very notable exception: a shoot through riser! Both bows are similar in specs and around 40″ ATA, the difference being a hybrid versus a one cam bow. These are definitely targeted at the target shooter (pun intended!)
Supra One Cam: Another new target bow, the Supra looks similar to the Dominators but is 2″ shorter in ATA, 38″, and does not have the shoot through riser.
2011 PSE Mainline Bows
Bow Madness XL, Bow Madness, Bow Madness XS: All three of these bows get the new Raptor grip and an improved solo cam that boosts speed across the board by 4-8 fps.
Brute HP: Replacing the Brute LT, the HP also gets the updated single cam and a nice speed boost of about 12 fps.
Mini Burner: A nice addition to the line is this new bow aimed at younger shooters. With a draw length range of 16-26″ and an IBO speed of 261 fps, this looks to be a great bow for youth.
Pictures and more detailed specs to come!
