2011 Mathews Mchpherson Series Monster Safari

Also for 2011 is the Monster Safari:

2011 Mathews Monster Safari

Description from the Mathews’ website:

Mathews® is excited to introduce the new McPherson Series® Monster® Safari™. With patent pending Honeycomb Core Technology™ designed throughout the bow, the Safari™ delivers unprecedented strength and performance.  With features such as exotic African Wood Inlays, Integral® Grip, and AVS™ cam system, the Safari™ is equally a work of art as it is a powerhouse in the field.

At Mathews® , engineering and innovation is a way of life.  We take pride in developing new technologies that enhance performance and fulfill your archery experience.  The new patent pending Honeycomb Core Technology™ is another advancement in a long line of archery innovations and is found exclusively on the McPherson Series® Monster® Safari™!  The natural design of honeycomb is one of the strongest in nature.  The hexagonal honeycomb design has been used in aerospace industries for years because of its high strength-to-weight ratios.  It goes without saying that the new Safari™ features strength to the core.

As with all Mathews bows, there is no compromise in quality or excellence.  Each Monster® Safari™ will be custom made.  Limited quantities will be available.

Built on the popular and successful Monster bow series, the Safari appears to be a beefed up version with the all new honeycomb designed cutouts in the riser and cams.  Unfortunately there are no hard specs stated yet, but rumor is that the draw weight starts at 70 lbs. and goes up from there.  With the limited quantities and custom style, the Safari retails for a whopping $2100!!  Take that Hoyt Carbon Matrix!

The best information that I have heard is that the EX7s will start hitting shops near the end of December or early January.

The only difference in the z9 and the z7 is draw lenght.

Eric, please refrain from posting profanity on this site.
As to your comment, the difference is the BRACE HEIGHT, not the draw length.

Just bought the Mathews Z7 Extreme… I have owned and shot almost every make of compound bow (except Mathews) … this bow has everything in one awesome package! Am very excited to get out and hunt with it. Truly the most efficient, balanced, quiet bow right out of the box! Only challenge has been finding a hard case to fit!! The risers are so far forward that all the cases I have tried won’t fit the risers in! If anyone has a line on a decent hard case that will fit, let me know! Cheers and great shooting all!

The z7 is by far the best blind and treestand bow I’ve ever owned. I don’t feel the need to buy “upgrades” or don’t really care about new and improved technology and do dads. I really feel that my Z7 is going to be a lifetime bow for me.

the z7 extreme is hands down the best bow mathews has ever made. i have been shootin a mq 32 since 99. which is a great bow with 8.5” brace height. i would like to see mathews make a z8 with 8” brace height and #80 lbs. that would be the altimate bow!

Kevin,
As far as I know the Z9 should come in left hand. I know that the Hoyt CRX35 and the Carbon Matrix Plus come in 32″ draw length; the G5 Prime Centroid comes in 31″ which may work depending on how you set it up. I’m sure there are others but those come to mind off the top of my head.
