It’s time to lay out some new articles and reviews for the future and it’s up to you, the readers, to help come up with some ideas! There are a few subjects already in the works including a catalog of ways to tie in peeps and string loops, an explanation of aerodynamics and arrow flight, pages specific to Rytera and Strother (to join the Hoyt, Bowtech and Mathews pages), a theoretical look at the maximum speed a bow can reach and more. However, those are subjects that I picked and interest me. What better way for you to get what you want to read than to have you suggest the topics! If you have any ideas or suggestions, please post them here or head to the contact page and send me a message. No appropriate suggestions are off limits and if I don’t know about it, I’ll find an expert and get the information about it.

I would just like to say how much I enjoy reading your articles.I`m pretty much shot physically so I depend on you to test these bows for me.I`m interested in your review of the new G5.I`m hoping to buy a new bow and so far I Like the bear carnage ,bowtech invasion, and depending on g5 review I might go with that.Just wanted to give you a pat on the back for a job well done.I also love to hear about broadheads.Take care,Jim
Jim,
Thank you for your kind comments! So far I haven’t been able to shoot the G5 Primes but I’m working on it as I am very interested in shooting one myself. I certainly looks like an interesting bow and I can’t wait to try one out.
I am working on some ideas for broadhead testing coming, stay tuned!
Recently I’ve been experiencing a “dilemma” while shooting my “ACG 540″ arrows. ( I started to notice this when I used to shoot “ACE 620″ arrows: What is causing the nock end of my shafts to have the carbon “split” from the aluminum? I’m using “pin” nocks and seems like the nocks are being”forced” (?) into the back end of the arrow shaft. At first I thought that it might be “inadequet” glueing of the pins to the back of the arrow shafting; Then I thought that it might be thamount of force “hitting against the nock as the shot is executed (?). I shoot a Martin “Shadow Cat” at 48#. At this point I am at a loss for an explanation….Perhaps you might shed a light on this matter? I would appreciated it ……Thank you!
Fausto,
That is an interesting dilemma and not one I have come across before. Have you done anything to alter the nock end of the arrow such as cutting as or heating? Are you gluing in your pin nock adapters?
