Coming soon: ArcheryReview.net and Carpal Tunnel

rating Coming soon: ArcheryReview.net and Carpal TunnelSince Archery Report has launched, one of the main driving Google/Bing/Yahoo/other searches that bring people here has been reviews.  People are obvious seeking more feedback on the new bows and equipment on the market.  While Archery Report will continue to be dedicated to in-depth and analytical reviews, it is not possible to cover even a small fraction of the entire industry.

I spent significant time perusing the internet and searching for a comprehensive archery equipment review site, and came up less than satisfied.  There are several merchants that use ratings, general internet review sites that have no product bounds, and a few archery dedicated sites.  Most of the dedicated archery sites have gone by the wayside and have seen little to no continuous updating.  There are a few good niche sites, but nothing dedicated to giving you, the archery consumers, a comprehensive look at archery equipment and a way to write your own reviews.

Thus ArcheryReview.net has been born.  The basic site structure is implemented but will continue to see improvements.  What I need from several people is to take a tour of the site and give it a little testing.  If you do choose to view the site, please take the time to leave a few comments and ideas of what you would like to see.  There are several bows listed that are ready for reviews; please keep in mind that the reviews are live and will be recorded.  If you happen to have experience with one of the items already listed, feel free to give an honest review.

What is obvious is that filling in the site is going to be an exercise in carpal tunnel avoidance.  The sheer number of products is huge and the work in setting them up, finding and editing official pictures and everything else is massive.  First in importance will be getting the major lines of bows up, with accessories following.  I will however be taking requests (through the contact form or direct email) for specific items if you happen to have something that you would like to review.
