Now this is something we should hope to see more of. In Owatonna, Minnesota, part of the curriculum for their intermediate and junior high schools will include a section on archery. Donations for equipment came from the local rifle and archery clubs, with the DNR chipping in as well. Several teachers have been trained in range safety and archery instruction. Let’s hope this kind of thing is contagious!
