Congress honors hunters for their contributions to feeding the hungry. The vote to pass the resolution was 418 to 1. So who was that yahoo who voted against this resolution? It was James Moran [D] from Virginia; let him know what you think!
A group of hunters were honored July 21 by congressional resolution H. Res. 270, which recognized hunters’ contributions to the Hunters for the Hungry program.
Last year, the Safari Club International Foundation and Sportsmen Against Hunger had record-breaking meat donations last year with 412,254 pounds of meat. The donations added up to 1,649,016 meals for the Hunters for the Hungry program.
